Congratulations to Caroline DeBadts, who was selected among thousands of high school students in New York State to the NYSSMA All-State Mixed Choir!
In order to earn this achievement, students first prepare a solo for the NYSSMA Vocal Solo Festival in the spring. Of the thousands of students across the state who audition, only those with a score of 98-100 can qualify for potential selection to All-State. Caroline scored 100 last spring and was chosen to represent Sodus! Caroline and her 200 fellow state champions rehearsed rigorously for three days, and performed together this past weekend at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester. We are so proud of Caroline and her tremendous achievement!
