SEL/MTSS Tip #15

Self-awareness is the ability to recognize and understand your own thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and how they align with your values and actions. It's a key part of emotional intelligence and can help you build trust, improve communication, and maintain strong relationships.  Take a moment and reflect as an individual, or team (one of the talented MTSS Coaches I work with did this activity with her District Team this week).

Head - What is using up most of your mental bandwidth?

Heart - What is on your heart? Where does your heart want your focus to be?

Hand - What are you ready to let go of? What physical/visible work needs your attention?

How aligned are your head, heart, and hand? How can you bring them closer to alignment?
